Woodcock Cabins: When your website performs like a PA
Builders of bespoke garden cabins, saunas, and tiny houses
Website Design / Website Build & Strategy
Structured information plus scheduling tools saves you and your customers time.
The challenge
Woodcock Cabins build bespoke garden rooms. They wanted to show a range of work and help potential new clients imagine how they might use their own garden space. The business is run by three brothers who are all hands-on.
Because they’re on building sites most days, they have little time for admin and website management. They needed a website that not only showcased their work but also helped manage client enquiries and consultations.
The solution
I built the website on Squarespace so the brothers could easily make updates themselves. We added a blog, which made it easy to feature new projects.
We knew clients typically have many structural questions that could be answered before a consultation, so we addressed them in an extensive FAQ section.
To save back-and-forth emails or calls, which are difficult to respond to from building sites, we also added budget-friendly scheduling software. Now, potential new clients can book their own consultations at a time that suits them best.

The Result:
“Joanie helped us really think through what we needed our website to do, not just for us, but also for our clients. And the site is brilliant for showcasing our work – it’s helped our clients imagine garden buildings specially tailored to them, rather than the pre-fab models from our competitors. It all just works!”

Website Strategy
Help clients imagine their own garden cabin by showing a range of work. Then move them towards a consultation by answering questions, and finally, offer the flexibility to schedule their own free consultation.

Images
It’s important that photography matches the quality of the work and is relevant to the text. For Woodcock Cabins, the images highlighted the bespoke, unique aspect of each build.
A CAD drawing is used to answer essential structural questions most clients have.
Copywriting
Clear copy was the key to creating context for each project: what clients wanted and how it was achieved, reinforcing the value of bespoke garden buildings over off-the-shelf options.
The FAQ section educates customers and supports both them and the brothers by providing information before consultations, saving everyone time.
Time-saving tools
Appointment Scheduler
We installed an easy-to-use and budget-friendly appointment scheduler so clients can book a free consultation without back-and-forth emails.
They make their own appointment and get instant confirmation by email. This system is fully automated, perfect for business owners who work away from their office.
